Forest School

Forest School – what an inspirational project it’s been!

Of the twenty different Dartford, Bexley and Gravesend primary schools that attended our two term programmes, half were inspired to go away and have a go themselves.

What a wonderful legacy!

Forest School really did bring about results with 98% of children growing in self-awareness, empathy, confidence in themselves and in communicating with others – becoming more self-motivated and, above all, finding out about the wonders of our natural world.

Young Carers Summer Schemes

Sponsored once more by KASBAH this will have been the Trust’s fourth year of providing a respite week for young carers aged between 7 to 11.

Fur and feathers was the theme this year, inspired by the wonderful offer from Arrow Riding School to take the young people for a day of experience and wonder.

Everyone got to ride a horse in their own woodland.  They learned how the saddle was used and groomed and fed the horses.  The many volunteers at the

Centre made the day really special for our young carers – a big thank you to them and to Val and Ken for the day.

Five charitable organisations worked hard to provide this special week – Imago, our Trust, St. Edmunds Living Well, Arrow Riding School and KASBAH. It takes a lot of putting together but the end results are so worth the effort.

Thanks to all for your help!
